It's Friday

It's Friday which means it's the weekend yay for that!
David started his new job this week and we are all trying to adjust to the new hours and everything else, I think the boys are taking it the hardest.
As for me I'm extremely tired!! I stay up til about 11ish working on school work and getting the kids in bed and making sure they fall asleep. I've been tossing and turning nearly everynight, then I get up at the crack of dawn to get David up and fix his lunch. By that time I'm wide awake and so is Jo-Jo, so morning naps are hard to come by around here, thus my day starts all over again.

Tomorrow we are supposed to be going to Six Flags for Fright Fest, planning is really messed up on this little one day getaway! I am a planner and since this is not fully planned it's driving me crazy. I've got so much left to do but yet I'm blogging, ha ha go figure!

On to this weeks freebies I received:
Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo and conditioner
Shout Wipe and Go mini sample
Dial Nutri Sin Replenishing lotion

So far I've used a little bit of the Dial lotion and I like it so far!

True love

Now this is by far one of my favorite poems, such a beautiful example of true love between husband and wife...

Sonnet 43 from Sonnets from the Portuguese

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Just a few rants!

Dear blank, blank, and blank,
Normally it takes a lot to get me worked up and really mad, but it seems like this past week the littlest things have set me off. I guess it's because I've bottle my emotions in for so long and the bottle is full and needs to be emptied, well here goes nothing!
(Note: Your probably not here to listen to me rant and rave, but everyone has to let their emotions out every once and awhile, so I figured I'd blog about it!)

I hate when other people think their grown kids (a 25 year old make at that) it my responsibility! I did not give birth to him, furthermore he is grown and if he makes the wrong decisions then I think he should have to suffer the consequences of his actions.

Don't call me and leave me a voice mail message griping and telling me off. You don't ever answer my phone calls, especially when you know I need to ask you something.

You drive past our house going to and from work everyday and do you ever stop by and see your grand-kids, nope! Try explaining to a three year old where his grandma is and why she never stops to see him. Cause it's not as easy as it seems.

Don't and I mean DO NOT keep knocking at my door then sit outside my house when no one answers the door. Either I don't want to speak to you or we're not at home, and knocking for ten minutes straight isn't going to do anything by aggravate me.

Don't make promises to me that you can't and don't intend to keep!

And last but not least leave your drama at your house, don't bring that crap in my house. I have enough going on already with out having to listen and deal with your personal problems and drama!

Sincerely,
One mad momma

A few money saving tips from me...

Money seems to be tight for everyone nowadays. I wanted to share with everyone a few things that my family and I do to save money.

1. I hand wash all dishes. Even though we have a dishwasher I don't use it, seems like a waste to use all that electricity on something I can do myself.
2. Set your air at 82 during the summer months and 72 during the winter months. This actually really helps out with the electricity bill!
3. We spend a certain amount at the grocery store each week. Setting a limit on the amount you want to spend and making a list really helps you not binge shop.
4. When I do laundry all or the adult shirts get hung up on coat hangers to dry rather than putting them in the dryer. A smaller load of laundry means that you wont have to dry it as long as you would a large load, thus saving you more money!
5. Clip coupons and catch sales whenever possible!!

What are some things that you do to save money? I'm always looking for ways to save as much as possible. Raising kids is expensive enough, but it's always nice to save a little bit wherever you can!

Freebie Friday!

My best deal from this past week would have to be the Gerber Good Start Formula that I paid only $13 for! Yeah I have to say that was a deal considering that it was normally nearly $23 a container. Turns out I picked a really good time to have to buy formula. This particular formula was on sale for $19 and I had a coupon for $6 off! Mind you this was the 23.2 oz container. I normally pay $13 for the Similac Sensitive 12.6 oz can. I nearly got double the product for the same price, who wouldn't love that?

I also received my order from Sensible Sundries in the mail this week! Yay, I love, love, love Renee's products! You will not be disappointed if you buy some of her products!

Also, Amber from My Three Bittles has a discount going on right now in her Etsy shop, Mommy Makes Stuff. Swing on by and enter the code "HALLOWEEN" to recieve 31% off your order!

Lions, Tigers and Bears...Oh my!

It's been a few days since I blogged, things have been really busy lately! Last Monday I received my soap, wax tart and lotion bar that I won in the mail, and let me tell you I am in love!! I will most definitely be ordering from her again. You should really check her out as well!

This is what I got from Sensible Sundries!

Wax tart- Autumn harvest, Lotion bar- lavender and soap- Cranberry fig.
I've got 3 more wax tarts and another lotion bar on the way, can't wait to get them in!

I have decided that Friday are going to be Freebie Fridays, I am going to start blogging about all the neat samples and coupons that I received that week, as well as post a few sites where you can find good deals at! How great is that? I thought it was a pretty neat idea myself.

Thursday I had to go take my British Literature II test and write two essays, but I'm pretty confident that I did great on them. Who would have though that British Literature could be so fascinating? Yeah, I know I'm a nerd but that's ok!
Saturday we went to the zoo (hence the title!) I loved that fact that we got in free by simply taking an outdated phone book and recycling it! Also I was super excited the my sister got to go with us! We got free admission to the zoo and helped save the planet all in one day!
Here are a few pictures from our fun filled outing:

David & his babies feeding the birds!

Since I didn't get on and blog last Friday, so I am just going to put up what I got last week up today. I received a sample of Dove Go Fresh Body Spray as well as a coupon for $1 off my next Dove purchase, and I also received a sample of Parent's Choice formula in the mail!

So Friday was Wal-Mart day, I'm really beginning to get tired of going there and dealing with rude employees. I passed by this shirt and just had to get it.
The hubby loves Star Wars and I wanted to make him laugh, so I bought it!

And here is all the Beech-Nut baby food I got Jo-Jo. 36 jars at 44 cents each with two coupons, buy 20 jars get $2 off and buy 16 jars get $2 off. Yeah I went a little baby food crazy, but that boy will eat it all up within a week!
See what I mean about things being busy the past few days, seems like I've been going and going just like the Energizer Bunny lately.

Time to go feed my little Jo-Jo!
